How do I remove the background from an image?+
Upload your image and the background is detected automatically from the edges. Adjust the Tolerance slider to remove more or less, click any stray background areas to clear them, and use the Erase / Restore brushes to fine-tune. Then download a transparent PNG.
What kind of images work best?+
Images with a fairly clean or solid background — product photos, logos, headshots on a plain backdrop, screenshots — give the best automatic results. For busy backgrounds, the Erase and Restore brushes let you refine the cut-out by hand.
Can I get a transparent background?+
