File Security & Privacy
Are my uploaded files safe?
Yes. All files are encrypted in transit using TLS and at rest using AES-256. Processed output files are automatically deleted from our servers after 2 hours. We never read, share, or sell the contents of your files.
Does PDF150 store my files permanently?
Only if you save them to your account under 'My Files'. Temporary processing files (for tools like Merge PDF, Compress PDF, etc.) are deleted after 2 hours. You can delete account files anytime from the dashboard.
Can I use PDF150 for confidential documents?
PDF150 uses industry-standard encryption. For highly sensitive documents, we recommend reviewing our Privacy Policy. Enterprise customers can discuss additional data handling agreements with our sales team.

Is PDF150 free to use?
Yes — 100% free. Every PDF, document, and image tool is fully unlocked for everyone, with no subscription, no usage caps, and no credit card required.
Is there a catch? How is it free?
No catch. There are no paywalls, no feature tiers, and no upsells — every tool is free for everyone. You can optionally create a free account to save files and view your history.
Do I need to sign up?
No. You can use the tools instantly without an account. Creating a free account is optional and simply lets you save files to 5 GB of cloud storage and keep a processing history.
Will I ever be charged?
No. PDF150 is free to use and there is nothing to pay. We will never ask for a credit card.
Tools & Formats
Which file formats does PDF150 support?
PDF150 supports PDF (merge, split, compress, sign), images (JPG, PNG, WebP — compress and convert), and scanned documents (OCR text extraction). More formats are being added regularly.
Is there a file size limit?
Files can be up to 50MB each — free for everyone. For larger batch processing needs, reach out at support@pdf150.com.
Do tools work offline?
No. PDF150 is a web-based service that processes files on our secure servers. An internet connection is required.
How accurate is the OCR tool?
Our OCR tool uses Tesseract.js, which achieves high accuracy on clearly scanned documents in English and other major languages. Accuracy may vary on handwritten text or low-quality scans.

How do I create an account?
Click 'Sign Up' and register with your email and password, or use Google Sign-In for faster setup. No credit card is required for the Free plan.
Do I need a paid plan for any features?
No. Every tool and feature is included for free — there is no paid plan to upgrade to.
I forgot my password. How do I reset it?
Click 'Forgot Password' on the login page, enter your email, and we will send you a reset link. The link expires in 1 hour.
