Frequently asked questions

What kinds of PDF damage can this fix?+

It fixes the most common cause of 'damaged / cannot be opened' errors: a broken cross-reference table or trailer. The tool re-parses the underlying objects and rebuilds a valid structure.

Can it recover any PDF?+

No tool can guarantee recovery. If page content streams are truly destroyed, they cannot be recreated. But many 'corrupt' PDFs only have structural damage, which this repairs.

Does it work on password-protected PDFs?+

The structure is rebuilt, but encrypted content stays unreadable until the password is removed first. Use an unlock tool for that.

Is it private?+

Yes. The repair happens entirely in your browser — your file is never uploaded.

Your files are processed privately and deleted automatically — PDF150 never stores your documents.
